mitosis and meiosis in terms of number and genetic content of daughter cells,
and how these are achieved
- Identify normal and simple abnormal karyotypes
- Describe human sex
determination and the effects of abnormalities in sex chromosomes
- List the most common numerical and structural chromosomal abnormalities and explain their origins
- Work out the main possible reproductive outcomes for
carriers of translocations
- Describe the main clinical applications of fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) and array-CGH
- Describe the outcomes of
