Directions:
- To view course content, start by clicking on the Sessions link in the left side navigation. Click on a session to view content.
- Each session has an Overview and Objectives.
- Sessions are designed using a common instructional cycle.
- If applicable, use the Checklist to manage tasks.
- Complete all Readings/Media and Presentations as instructed within each session prior to completing discussions or activities.
- Complete Discussions, Activities and Assignments, as directed. Unless otherwise noted, these do not need to be completed in any specific order.
- Revisit the Discussion forum several times in order to engage in dialogue.
- If applicable, use the Checklist to manage tasks.
- Review the table below for a brief description of each element.

Review it to make sure you have completed all tasks.ReadingsReadings include online web resources, PDF resources, and articles available in E-Reserves. Unless otherwise directed, readings should be completed prior to completing all activities and discussions so that you may thoughtfully respond to discussions and/or complete activities. Generally readings should be completed within the first few days of a given session or in the first week of a session if it is a multi-week session.PresentationsMedia and Presentations serve as the "lecture" portion of the online class and may include resources such as audio and video files.Discussions are a critical part of any online class and carry significant weight toward your overall grade.ActivitiesActivities may involve short independent tasks that you complete throughout the course, or collaborative activities that you complete within your assigned team.AssignmentAssignments involve long-term assessments that take place over several weeks of the course. There are several main assignments in this course. You will be prompted in session directions to work on these assignments. Follow the detailed assignment directions found in the session in which the assignment is introduced.
